Our TapSongz Team continues to search for the next brand new artist and top music heading into the fall of 2017. There is plenty of talent that goes unheard and we recently came across Philadelphia rapper C-Milly.
Having grown up on the likes of Eminem and Meek Mill, Christopher Milillo had a passion for Hip-Hop early on. Now going by the rapper name C-Milly, he grew up in South Philadelphia for 10 years and learned a great deal about music. "Eminem is hands down the best lyrical rapper I've ever heard still to this day and Meeks old music was just wavy and perfect for the Philly sound.
Around the age of 13, Chris started to focus more on music, rapping and enjoying creating projects for fun. "I used to beat box and make beats with my phone and I was thinking to myself, damn I love rap so why not try it out," C-Milly told our TapSongz Team. "So I did, and the people who heard me rap said I should really start becoming serious and focused on it. And I did". The young rapper started to put more time into his music and perfecting his sound.
Fast forward to today and C-Milly is working harder than ever to please fans and release new music. "My latest project that I've released was an EP called 'These Days'. The title came from me trying to express how my life's going these days," he told our TapSongz Team. We were a big fan of the new EP and love the way the young rapper's sound has progressed! We particularly enjoyed the rising rapper's new track "The Juice" a funky, fun, new tune that is so easy to vibe to.
C-Milly is already thinking ahead to what is next and has a project in the pipeline. "My next project I'm working on right now is another EP called 'N.F.L.S' which stands for Nothing Fails Like Success. This tape I been more focused on switching up my flow and show my creativity in music," C-Milly said. We can't wait for the new project to be released.
Definitely be sure to follow C-Milly on SoundCloud and give his latest music a listen! Toss him a follow on Twitter to stay up to date with his latest releases! We can't wait to hear his next EP and have no doubt that this won't be the last time you'll hear about the up and coming rapper out of Philadelphia! Here at TapSongz, we thank you for reading this feature article as we continue finding tomorrow's greatest music today!
