While Blues may no longer be the dominant genre in American Pop culture, it is no doubt still alive. Mike Bradley proved us just that. We came across his brand new album "Kewl Water" on iTunes and were impressed with how musically talented Bradley was.
He first started songwriting back in 1995 and since then, has worked on a variety of tracks within the Rock, Country and Blues genres. His versatility is no surprise after just listening to one of his songs. His track "Belly Dancer" is currently on SoundCloud in addition to iTunes and Reverbnation and we love how the track turned out. It starts out slow with gentle plucks of the guitar. Midway through the song, it bursts out into a harder rock tune, holding a steady beat and Bradleybelting lyrics in a deep, crisp voice.
Bradley's song "Worst Thing That Happens" was actually the #1 Blues song on ourstage.com Blues Chart in September, 2013. His track "Lesbian Chihuahua" is also extremely popular among his fans. Bradley looks to use harmonica in almost every song and it has kind of become a staple for him. It is Mike's primary lead instrument in the majority of his releases and helps to give him a little extra flare.
Bradley's album "Kewl Water" was released on March 5 and consists of 10 amazing songs. Our TapSongz Team also loved his song "Trust Me" from his new album. It is the first track on the album and is much more jazzy, creating that blues feeling that we have grown to love. There is strong drums in the background and Mike even throws in some harmonica in between verses. Definitely be sure to give Bradley's music a listen and support the artist by following him on social media! His new album "Kewl Water" is just the beginning and perfectly exemplifies Bradley's potential as a Rock and Blues artist. Here at TapSongz, we thank you for reading this feature article as we continue finding tomorrow's greatest music today!
