Being based out of Toronto, P. Reign immediately made connections with one of the most lauded hip-hop artists to date, Drake. From there, P. Reign began releasing mixtapes, with the first coming in 2010 entitled "The Canadian Dream". During the same year, he released his second mixtape, "When it Reigns, it Pours". Both of these early mixtapes were moderately successful, as P. Reign still was unable to truly make a name for himself. This all changed with the release of his newest mixtape "Dear America", and an EP with same title. The mixtape includes 15 tracks, with bangers including "Welcome to the Future" and "Pay Day". This new mixtape does not soley feature party anthems, it also features many lyrical eccentric tunes, including "In This Cup/Cry For You" and "Rihanna". This mixtape truly establishes P. Reign as a very versatile artists, capable of making chart-topping songs, as well as lyrically heavy raps that focus more on his skill as an aspiring hip-hop artist.
