Snakehips recently performed a late show at 9:30 Club to close out their North American tour. The electronic/R&B group had an awesome live set with songs ranging from almost-deep house to trap.
Their unique sound comes from their fusion of new electronic riffs and original songs from a variety of genres. This mixing allows for a set that has pieces for everyone. Snakehips kept the club dancing throughout, and the lighter alternative songs provided a fun change and break.
The up-and-coming group has a strong following in the DC area already as much of the crowd recognized even their lesser-known hits. Their tour featured shows in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Chicago, as well as at Firefly Music Festival in Dover, DE. Look out for future shows and new songs on their Facebook and Soundcloud pages!
