After performing three shows at the Brooklyn Mirage venue in New York, Flume made his way to Boston where he performed consecutive nights at the new Roadrunner venue. Roadrunner, located just outside of Boston in Brighton, MA, is a stunning new venue that opened in March. Flume was joined by openers
I. Jordan and Prospa on his mini U.S. tour promoting his new album "Palaces". Prospa, a rising duo out of London, threw an awesome show driving energy with their retro-sounding bop "Prayer", teeing up a perfect night for any EDM fan.
Whether you're a fan of old Flume or new Flume, all attendees left happy. Flume slowed into his set bringing guest vocalist KUCKA out on stage early to display her vibrant vocals featured in "ESCAPE". The Australian artist then rolled the crowd back in time with his hit remix to Disclosure's "You & Me", all while vibrant red videos covered the stage screen.

Flume ripped through other older classics including "Holdin' On", "Drop the Game", and "Never Be Like You". The crowd happily belted the lyrics to "Never Be Like You" with the track's purple flower album cover fluttering in the background.
Midway through the show Flume switched gears between a flux of slow and up tempo hits. One of the popular recent tracks on his new project is album-titled "Palaces", a smooth tune featuring vocals from Damon Albarn. Flume picked the crowd back up with banger "Lose It", which features heavy vocals from Chicago rapper Vic Mensa. The show continued with constant heat from hits "Hyperreal" and new release "Sirens" before driving the event home in style.
The stage blacked out before white squares filled up the visual leading into Flume's most popular track on his latest project, "Highest Building". Heavy bass and creative drops lit up the crowd, all while Flume danced in his space suit and white t-shirt. The energy didn't stop for the four-time Grammy nominee, stoking the crowd to "HyperParadise" and "Heater" before diving into his most popular remix to-date. Lorde's "Tennis Court" remix filled the room, with chants screaming across the venue and echoing up into the balcony.
The high energy and creative visual set rode home with a handful of final tracks, including the popular "Some Minds". It's been a decade since Flume's debut album and our TapSongz Team had covered his Lollapalooza performance in downtown Chicago in August 2014. It's refreshing to see Flume continue to experiment, push his future bass sound in a forward direction, yet make sure fans can still enjoy his classics. His portfolio of hits continues to grow and we can't wait to see Flume throw down again during his next U.S. tour!
