Our TapSongz Team continues to search for the next top artists and brilliant music to share. We recently came across TMELSS, an outstanding artist located in the midwest. Our team had the opportunity to interview TMELSS to learn more about his latest releases and exciting plans for 2019.
TMELSS was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and currently resides in Rochester, Minnesota, a city just south of Minneapolis. His passion for music began at an early age as he recalls beginning piano lessons in 4th grade. "That eventually led to playing guitar for a short while. Sports eventually took over and continuing music took a back seat, but I picked it back up again in college," TMELSS said. Growing up the rising artist certainly had plenty of inspirations including Def Leppard, Pink Floyd, and Poison.
Fast forward to today and TMELSS has made plenty of progress as an artist and continues to hone his sound. His latest release is a remix to "It's Not Over" featuring Linn Sandin by SHADOWKEY & RUBIKA. "I found the track on Skio as an option to remix and we decided to dive in. All it took was one listen to the original track and I fell in love with the vocals and I was humming ideas of how I could remix the song as I listened." Our TapSongz Team loved how the remix turned out as it has such a chill vibe, but still separates itself from the original's sound. Definitely toss the remix a listen on SoundCloud!
As for the rest of the year, TMELSS wants to release his first original track, a feat that is always big for a rising DJ. "All I will tell you is the song is titled 'Trials' and the vocals have been tracked. That will also be the first track I introduce to Spotify," TMELSS said. In the meantime, he plans to drop a remix to Noah Kahan's "Hurt Somebody", which should be released in early September. In the near future he hopes to begin doing local shows and eventually tour down the road.
We encourage all of our viewers to give TMELSS' music a listen on SoundCloud. Toss him a follow on social media to stay up to date with his latest releases! He has plenty in the pipeline which is exciting as we can't wait to hear more remixes and the debut original single. Here at TapSongz, we thank you for reading this feature article as we continue finding tomorrow's greatest music today!
