The Hip-Hop game has evolved so much over the past couple of years, as artists are refining their sound to increase their fan base. Our TapSongz Team had discovered rising rapper Zenas several months ago and stayed in touch with the rapper as his sound and fan base grew. We recently saw Zenas dropped some awesome new music and had the chance to catch up with him through an interview to learn more about his progress and latest releases!
Zenas is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. "I first began pursuing a music career in January 2012. My artist name is Zenas," he told our TapSongz Team. "I grew up listening to artists of all genres. Some artists of note would be Niccolo Paganini, Giuseppe Tartini, and Robert Johnson," Zenas added. Zenas saw DJ Clay perform at The Gathering of the Juggalos in 2018 and absolutely loved the performance. He was able to turn these influences into his own style, pursuing his own passion for music creation.
"The latest project I've released is really two projects. My two newest singles 'Maxing and Relaxing' and 'Eat'. They are both produced by Sergelaconic," Zenas said. "I reached out to him and hit the studio at 'Lava Room Recording' in Beachwood, Ohio," he added. We absolutely love Zenas' dedication to the game. He is truly inspiring and has a passion for creating new music, one that appears to be unmatched in the industry.
Our TapSongz Team loved Zenas' latest releases. 'Maxing and Relaxing' is a catchy tune with awesome lyrics spanning nearly three full minutes. The beat is laidback and Zenas' rapping abilities are on full display. We love the intro to the track and how the rising Ohio rapper is immediately able to catch his listener's attention. We also loved 'Eat' which has a funky beat and a slower melody. Zenas absolutely goes in on the beat with perfect rhymes and the track appeared to be perfectly crafted together sounding very professional.
