Our TapSongz Team continues searching for top new talent that is rising up in the industry. While 2020 has been off to a difficult start, artists continue to show their creativity and release new tracks. Whether it be a new band, a rapper, a DJ, or a singer there is so much talent that goes unheard in music. We recently came across Category 5, a strong rapper based in New York, and had the opportunity to review his music.
Category 5 immediately stood out to us given his unique sound and extremely impressive rapping capabilities. "Tatsumaki" was only released a week ago, but our TapSongz Team absolutely loved the track. The song has a catchy melody and Category 5 is able to go in on the beat, holding a steady rhythm throughout the song. His ability to hold a listener's attention from start to finish certainly differentiates him from the rest of the industry. Our TapSongz Team also loved Category 5's track "Guano". Again, the production and beat making was phenomenal and the rappers voice goes along so well. We think Category 5 definitely has what it takes to reach the next level and are excited to follow his journey.
