Cherub brought the funk to a sold a crowd in Philly last night. With a great performance and killer vocals, the set was nothing short of amazing - and it was so special to be able to share that moment with them. The duo of Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber had an amazing time out there, and no matter what song they played the crowd was vibing to every beat. At one point Jason Huber got off the stage to perform a song alongside a fan in the audience!
Cherub's unique style featured an amazing vocal performance and killer synths that definitely kept the good vibes going. Through the entire show they had the entire crowd jumping and singing along. With XOXO's chill vibes, funky synths, cool background vocals, and catchy chorus there was no way the crowd couldn’t sing along. To close out the set, Cherub was joined by Dom from Big Gigantic who brought some amazing saxophone into their live show. The group ended the show on a high note with their hit song Doses & Mimosas. The crowd went wild: every single person in the room was dancing and singing enthusiastically. The whole vibe of the show was absolutely amazing!
Cherub also joined Big Gigantic for the last song of the headliner's set: The Night Is Young was released just over two years ago and has been a staple in the electronic scene since. With the amazing Cherub vocals and Dom's catchy sax, the whole building was jamming out -- it was definitely my favorite piece from the night!
Definitely check Cherub out on the rest of the group's tour -- this is absolutely a performance you don't want to miss!
