Our TapSongz Team continues to search for the most talented up and coming artists in all genres. Heading into the midst of summer there are plenty of new projects being released. We recently came across Craz-E, a talented up and coming artist out of California. We had the opportunity to interview him to learn more about his path to music, latest releases (which we thoroughly enjoyed), and plans for the future.
Craz-E is originally from Hemet, California. He first began pursuing music back in 2015 and quickly came up with the artist name Craz-E. Growing up he had plenty of influences, largely famous hip-hop artists including Fredo Santana, Chief Keef, G Herbo, Lil Baby, Kevin Gates, and Cago Leek, as well as other Latin pop rock artists such as Camila, among others. Fast forward to today and Craz-E was able to use these influences to create his own original music.
At the beginning of summer Craz-E released an awesome new project titled "Life Of a Rockstar". Our TapSongz immediately loved the unique style and sound of the project. "I kept working at my craft as well as different areas of my life. I consider myself a rockstar and ultimately it all came around towards this project," Craz-E told our TapSongz Team.
Our TapSongz Team loved the track "Uh, Uh" which was produced by Glockley. The track goes hard and perfectly displays Craz-E's full potential as a rapper and artist. The creative lyrics and smooth beat go so well together and Craz-E is able to capture his audience throughout the entire track. We also thought the "Pardon" remix had a nasty beat. The rapping is on point and Craz-E certainly has what it takes to reach the next level. We also really vibed with Craz-E's "Franchise" remix, just another example of how he is able to take his sound and direction to the next level.
When asked who Craz-E's favorite artist live was it was an easy answer for him. "Michael Jackson! He was one of the greatest if not THE greatest! A true businessman," the rising artist said. We couldn't agree more. Soon enough, it'll be Craz-E performing in front of clusters and groups of fans promoting his own sound and building his own brand. The up and coming artist would love to perform in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas areas. "I also want to give my flowers to Lil Wayne! He is amongst if not the greatest and people need to realize his role in the game," he added.
As for plans for the rest of 2021 and heading into the new year, Craz-E wants to keep things simple. "I want to make more music and grow my platform and skills, not only for myself but for others as well. I am also looking into military services," he said. Whatever Craz-E sets his mind to he is clearly able to achieve strong results. Craz-E's craft is entirely his own, putting forth full effort into his music and even creating his own cover art!
Our TapSongz Team is excited to see what Craz-E can accomplish next! He is no doubt devoted to music and willing to give it his all. With a project already on SoundCloud and more on the way, Craz-E has a lot of momentum heading into the second half of 2021. Keep an eye out for his new material in the near future! Be sure to support Craz-E by check out his music and tossing him a follow on Twitter to stay up to date with his latest releases!
