Our TapSongz Team continues to find some amazing new artists in the second half of 2019 as we gear up for the new year. Whether they are a new band, a talented DJ, or a rising rapper, there is so much talent that goes unnoticed in the music industry. We recently came across a new international artist by the name of HYH that we have grown to love. We had the opportunity to interview him to learn more about his latest releases and future plans.
HYH is originally from Taiwan and loved music early on. "I first began pursuing music at the age of 10. My real name is Hsieh Yu Hsiang, so my artist name is HYH," he told our TapSongz Team. Growing him, HYH was certainly not lacking inspirations as he loved a variety of music. "I liked Elton John, Eminem, Linkin Park, Alan Walker, Marshmello, and David Guetta. Alan Walker is now my favorite artist," he said.
Fast forward to today and HYH has turned his inspirations into reality by pursuing music himself. "My latest project is Go Villa. One night I had a melody in my head while on vacation so I recorded it on my phone and made the song," he said. "Go Villa" is one of our favorite HYH tunes, a very upbeat and European sounding track that actually reminded us of early Alan Walker. The track has an awesome melody with an amazing techno sound that is bound to get stuck in your head. It is clear that Walker is an inspiration to HYH. "Alan Walker is my favorite artist that I've seen live because of his song 'Fade' and I love his other remix songs too," he said.
As for the rest of 2019, HYH plans to further enhance his sound and work on new music. "I don't have plans to tour in 2019, but I just want to make a loot of new songs. My favorite city to perform is in Los Angeles that place is so nice," he told our TapSongz Team. We also loved HYH's track "Don't Feel So Sad" another awesome electronic track that proves just how versatile the up and coming DJ is.
We see big things ahead for HYH and are excited to follow his journey as we head into 2020. Be sure to toss HYH a follow on Twitter to stay up to date with his latest releases. He has so much talent and we are excited to watch him release the next level. Here at TapSongz, we thank you for reading this feature article as we continue finding tomorrow's music today!
