Our TapSongz Team continues to find talented up and coming artists who deserve to have their music heard by a larger audience. Whether it is hip-hop, EDM, or a brand new band, we always enjoy finding hard working artists and sharing with our viewers. We recently came across Kid Klutch and had the opportunity to interview the rising rapper to learn more about his new project!
Kid Klutch is from Mobile, Alabama and loved listening to music growing up. "I started to first pursue music when I was 17 years and started to take it seriously when I turned 25," he told our TapSongz Team. There was never a shortage of influences in hip-hop and Kid Klutch noted several artists who he looked up to early on. "I loved Lil Boosie, Gucci Mane, Spank Lee, Lil Phat, Bianca Clarke, Webbie, and Young Scotter," he said.
Fast forward to today, and Kid Klutch continues to make progress in the music industry with his new release. "My latest project I released is called '90'babies In Charge'. I got the idea of the project from the rapper Lil Phat when he was working in Y.N.I.C. Klutch is hoping his new release will help to spark continued interest from his fan base and is looking too tour in 2019 in New York, Miami, and Atlanta. "I am taking my music career serious and once I build my fan base up to where I want it to be, I want to start doing shows and going on tour and just relax and hang with the people I started at the bottom with and reached the top with," Kid Klutch said.
We love Kid Klutch's music which can be found on Distrokid. We were a big fan of his mixtape "Thought of Mine", which perfectly displays the rapper's full potential as an artist and musician. When asked if there was a single artist he'd like to collaborate most with, Kid Klutch had an easy answer. "I would want to collaborate with finese2Tymes because I like his rap flow style and swag," he told our TapSongz Team. Kid Klutch has a certain swagger himself and he love his ability to string verses together with creative rhymes and engage an audience.
Kid Klutch has noticed the industry shift himself and noted the type of movement that music has had in recent years. "A lot of things are not the same anymore that I see in the industry. It takes a lot for you to reach your goals now and a lot of work. I see a lot of things you have to do to get where you want to be and you have too make quality music that everyone wants to hear not just one person," Kid Klutch said. We couldn't agree more. Kid Klutch is preparing to drop two tapes tomorrow, both "Thoughts of Mine" and "John Dillinger Story".
We encourage all of our viewers to check out Kid Klutch's new project and toss him a follow on Twitter to stay up to date with his releases! Big things are ahead for the Alabama rapper and we can't wait to see what he is able to accomplish. Here at TapSongz, we thank you for reading this feature article as we continue finding tomorrow's greatest music today!
