This week, TapSongz had the opportunity to look more in-depth at a DJ out of Miami, Florida, who has been hard at work, releasing a variety of EP’s and singles in the past couple of years. Andres Fresko began to DJ when he was 18 years old and began remixing and producing around the same time. Fresko has already released five original EP’s in the past four years of his career, but has yet to release a full album. His music style is very similar to Hardwell and Carnage, creating high-energy festival music.
In our exclusive TapSongz interview, our team was able to gain an insight on Fresko’s music and what he expects for 2014. So far in his career, Fresko has had a blast touring and playing music for his fans and he’s been able to meet some pretty cool people along the way. “I have met a lot of famous people, but one I consider a great friend has to be Hardwell, currently #1 in the world,” Fresko said. “I love meeting new people and the lifestyle in general that I live. It’s such a great feeling to be able to play my music for thousands of people and get to do what I love,” Fresko added.
Despite not having an official album out yet, Fresko is looking to release a lot of music in 2014. He already has created several popular mixes, which can be found on his SoundCloud linked below. Even as Fresko’s popularity has grown from some of his latest releases, he has always been one to keep a level head. “Something unique about myself is that I’m a real person. I love my fans and love to make them happy by putting out good music. I have come a long way in this industry by being real and never changing who I am no matter how tough it gets, you still have to fight for success. Always follow your dreams and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t be something,” Fresko said. Fresko has put in countless hours in his mixes, but he still makes sure to find time to relax. “ Besides being a DJ and producing, I love to play video games (FIFA) and also like to watch sports. I’m a very big Heat fan,” Fresko said.
