Being a 90's baby I'm certainly guilty of bumping "Unwritten" and "Pocketful of Sunshine" on the radio. Those songs are contagious and Natasha Bedingfield's voice hasn't changed a bit. Her passion for music hasn't dwindled in the slightest of ways either, as the celebrity vocalist, now in her mid-30's, continues to write, record and tour.
Bedingfield is currently in the midst of her summer tour with Train and O.A.R., hitting several major cities throughout the U.S. "The tour has been really lovely to see America again and connect with the fans here," Bedingfield said. The singer has always been a huge fan of Train and was thrilled to have the opportunity to join them on tour. "They are really cool people and create such a fun atmosphere. It's sort of like watching fireworks they have amazing pop music and have kept relevant."
The British singer loves writing and continues to write every single day. She has collaborated behind the scenes with some of music's biggest artists of all genres including Nicki Minaj, Galantis, Big Sean and Rascal Flatts. "I love songwriting and my vocal stories are about the people around me. I enjoy putting emotions into something symbolic and powerful. You don't need a big label to put a stamp on something," Natasha said. Bedingfield loves how modern day music is all about flows and releasing new music.
It is amazing how busy Bedingfield is keeping, working on a variety of new songs, helping new artists develop, and writing a book. In the last couple of months Natasha has released a couple of new singles including "Love Looks Like" and "Let Go". Despite already having accomplished so much in her career, Bedingfield continues to dive deeper into her musical roots. There is still one artist that the vocalist hopes to collaborate with soon. "I am a huge Coldplay fan and would absolutely love to do something with them." We would absolutely love to see a collaboration between the two!

With so many things going on at once you would think Bedingfield may get tired of the constant hustle and want a break, but it's the opposite. The British songwriter loves the challenge and taking on new opportunities. "When you say yes to something you say no to something else. I like keeping busy and enjoy it so it isn't hard at all." Looking back, Natasha is amazed at how quickly time has gone by. "I feel like I'm still one of the kids. I sing 'Unwritten' so many times and I never get tired of it. I wrote it for my brother, but I feel something new every time I sing it."
One of the cooler experiences for Bedingfield came years ago when she had the opportunity to join Stevie Wonder on stage. "It was a huge moment for me to sing with him. His album was the first album I ever bought," Bedingfield reflected. When asked if Natasha ever considered calling it a career and retiring from music her answer was simple. "I'm a better performer now than I've ever been and my voice is stronger. Music is my passion," Bedingfield said. "It's a combination of not being afraid to take risks, staying curious and fascinated," she added. The British star has had an amazing career thus far and it appears she has no signs of stopping. With a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and also having been nominated for Best British Female Artist at the Brit Awards, Natasha has some unbelievable achievements. As for what she will accomplish next, the rest is still unwritten.
