Only a handful of years ago you could mention SoundSet and most people wouldn't have any idea what you were referring to. But today SoundSet has taken on a whole new meaning, as Hip-Hop fans not only in the Minnesota and the Midwest, but throughout the U.S., plan their end of May weekend around the big-time music event.
The lineup this year certainly did not disappoint, featuring the typical star-power and depth that the festival has become accustomed to in recent years. Travis Scott, Atmosphere, Gucci Mane, T.I., Mac Miller and Kevin Gates all were crowd pleasers as this year's lineup was announced. Lil Uzi Vert, one of the hottest up and coming rappers in the game, is also making an appearance. The depth only continues with acts from Brother Ali, Ty Dolla Sign and Pusha T also in the schedule. The festival is a one-day event held on May 28, packing in plenty of talent from start to finish.
The festival has grown so extensively in recent years that it has been moved from Shakopee, Minnesota, grounds to Minneapolis. Tens of thousands will flood the fields of Minnesota as Hip-Hop once again is revived in the Midwest. The one day event will certainly not disappoint and we encourage all of our viewers to purchase tickets in the link below before prices hike on Monday, May 15! Toss @SoundSet a follow on Twitter to stay up to date on updated festival information and lineup schedules! See you all there!
