Will Eastman performed the headlining set at his BLISS show featuring The Elders on July 25th at U Street Music Hall. Co-owned by Will himself, U Street boasts one of the nicest sound systems in DC as well as a full bar and free 21+ entry before midnight.
In making U Street, Will created the perfect environment for house; last night was just another instance of him killing the performance in his own brainchild.
Will was in his element through the whole show, as was evidenced by his masterful transitions and interesting sound. He created the perfect dance vibe and provided a familiar and expected sound while always bringing fresh tracks and new sounds to the table.
Not only did Will keep the crowd dancing until nearly 4am, but he kept them entertained, adding new sounds and songs throughout the night.
Will Eastman’s shows have become a tradition for house fans in DC. His upcoming DC performances include a show on July 30th with Erol Alkan at U Street and a Daft Punk Tribute with Ozker titled “Rev 909” on August 7th at 9:30 Club (The Rev 909 earlier this year was incredible).
