Atlanta seems to have one of the hottest markets in the music industry for up and coming artists. Young Acee is no exception. The hard working young gun is looking to reach the next level in the Hip-Hop industry and is working harder than ever. He's only 19 years old and has plenty of potential. Our TapSongz Team recently had the chance to interview the young rapper about his latest music, career and goals.
Young Acee knew he had a thing for music at an early age. Early on, his inspirations in the game included Lil Wayne, B.o.B., Drake, Post Malone and Bryson Tiller. "When I was younger in middle school my friends and I used to always make beats on the desk and start rapping," Young Acee told our TapSongz Team. "I officially started music when I was 17." Since then he has been off to the races, releasing a variety of tracks and working to build up a fan base. Our TapSongz Team really enjoyed his track "For My Family", a catchy track that was produced by KingDrumDummie. "At the time my brother was suffering with blood clots so that made me realize how important family mean to me," Young Acee said. The track turned out beautiful and is definitely worth a listen.
Our TapSongz Team was also impressed with Young Acee's song "K&M". The track features NewRebel and is very well put together. Young Acee is able to go in on the beat and his rapping is so smooth, tying each verse together. "I was rapping about how the world is getting crazy. For how cops be killing people when they don't do any crimes." The project is a must hear and well worth your time.
If there is one thing we learned about Young Acee during the interview it is that he is so grateful for the opportunity and appreciates your support. He has a deep passion for music and there is not a better feeling than fans listening to his music with a smile on their face.
